A vision for a new community

Millions of people already need and love Learn. Finding a way to create an official community that delivers value, individual engagement, and scalability to a large global following can only be done with the right strategy and execution plan. 

Create a technical pro-level community.

The challenge was to build a scalable and inclusive technical community for pro-level customers who want to deep dive on very specific topics and products.

Introducing Learn experts.

We found people who were already advocates in the community and invited them to be Learn experts. They were a scalable solution that allowed for learners to gain access to subject matter experts and their peers in a private and safe social learning experience.

Spreading the word.

We used the Microsoft Learn portfolio of events, sites, emails, social channels and our new Learn experts to reach thousands of learners.

Live and active
micro-communities.

Learning rooms are topic-specific social learning experience lead by proven experts and participated in by learners from around the world.
